Working Together for a Brighter Future: A Letter From Our CEO
Dear Friends of BVT,
As another year draws to a close, it’s hard to imagine that we’re about to usher in the year 2020. All of us at BVT are excited about the coming year, and even more excited about the coming decade! Because of global issues around food security, we expect there will be accelerated adoption of sustainable agricultural practices worldwide as growers continue to seek innovative ways to meet the challenges of feeding a growing population in an environmentally responsible way. (Read about the new green revolution and how BVT is driving this change in our new blog post.)

2019 was a tremendous year of progress for BVT. We achieved our first pilot revenue in the Florida market in the spring, received our first regulatory approval from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in August, and have been gaining sales momentum in the last several months with commitments from strawberry and blueberry growers in the Southeastern US. Achieving regulatory approval was a significant milestone for several reasons. Not only does it give BVT our “license to operate” in the US market, but it also gives us a high level of credibility with growers and within the agriculture industry, where we now have over a dozen ongoing potential partnering discussions. It has also given us momentum as we look to expand into other markets such as Mexico, Switzerland, and the European Union.
We are excited about the future of BVT and welcome your interest in our natural precision application technology. As always, you can get our latest updates by signing up for our newsletter, or following us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
On behalf of everyone at BVT, thank you for your continued support and interest, and wishing everyone a safe, wonderful holiday season and best wishes for 2020!
Sincerely,
|
